Transfer Google Photos to New Account

Google Photos is a widely used platform to store images from any device. Many people depend on this app, and users can create different accounts for work, school, and home. Google Photos images can be transferred to a new account via a Partner Account or Shared Album. However, if you wish to automatically transfer images on a set schedule, we’ll share another functionality.

Method 1: Manual Transfer

This solution involves downloading all images from Google Photos and uploading them again to a new account. If your account holds many images, this solution is not advised. Manually choosing all images, downloading, and uploading them again is time-consuming. But if you don’t have many photos, follow these steps:

1. Launch the app on a browser and sign in to your Google Photos account.

2. Tap on the Photos tab.

3. Choose the first image.

4. Click on the Page Down key on the keyboard until you see the last image in your account.

5. Press and hold the Shift key.

6. Choose the last image in your account.

7. Press the More Options icon (3 dots) on the upper right side.

8. Choose the Download option.

9. Sign in to the new Google Photos account where the images have to be transferred.

10. Tap on the Photos tab.

11. Press the Upload icon.

12. Choose all the images that you want to upload.

13. Wait until all images are uploaded.

Method 2: Shared Album

This app feature allows users to manage images into albums that can be shared with other users via direct links. Follow these simple steps:

1. Launch the app on a browser.

2. If you already have an album that you want to transfer files from, choose that album from the left panel.

3. If your images are not merged into an album, create a new one.

4. To create an album, tap on the Album tab.

5. Press the Create Album button.

6. Enter a title for the album.

7. Tap on Select Photos and pick the images you want to transfer to the new album.

8. Now, choose your new album.

9. Press the More Options icon (three dots) in the upper right corner.

10. Choose Share Album.

11. In a new pop-up, press the Create Link.

12. The app will generate a public link for the album.

13. Tap on the Copy button.

14. Sign out from your account.

15. From the Address Bar, paste the public link.

16. Sign in to the target Google Photos account.

17. Choose all the images.

18. Press the + icon.

19. Select Album and confirm the action.

Method 3: Partner Account

This app feature is used to share images with your partners. The feature can be activated anytime by following these steps:

1. Launch the app on a browser and tap on the Settings icon.

2. Press the Partner Sharing option.

3. Type in the email address of the new account where the images have to be shared.

4. Click on Next.

5. Press the All Photos option.

6. Again, click on Next.

7. Tap on Send Invitation.

8. Sign out from the account and sign in to the target account.

9. Press the Sharing tab.

10. Choose the name of the source account.

11. Tap on Accept.

12. Ensure that you have chosen the Turn on Auto Save option.

13. To transfer all images, select the All-Photos option.

14. If you want to transfer chosen individuals, use the Photos of selected people option.

15. Confirm Done.

Method 4: Easy Cloud Manager

1. Register on the website.

2. Go to Home.

3. Press Add Cloud Drives.

4. Choose Google Photos.

5. Enter a Display Name and tap on Submit.

6. You will be sent to the Google Photos sign-in page.

7. Sign in to the source Google Photos account and grant the necessary permissions to access your images.

8. Likewise, add your destination account.

9. Tap on Operations.

10. Click on Data Transfer.

11. Tap on Select Source.

12. A pop-up will appear.

13. Choose the source account.

14. Press Load Drive.

15. Tap on Select Target.

16. Choose the target account.

17. Press Load Drive.

18. Choose the folders from the source account that need to be transferred.

19. Select a target folder in the targeted drive.

20. You can use any one of the following options:

    – Schedule Transfer: You can transfer files at a later scheduled time, such as Daily, Weekly, Monthly, etc.

    – Transfer Now: You can immediately transfer files.
