One problem oft associated with Adobe Animate is that it sometimes becomes way too slow, even testing the most patient ones. We’ve come up with our own bag of tricks to help you get around the most common reasons which lead to the slow Adobe Animate issue. So let’s dig a little deeper and try to find solutions to this problem.

- Get Rid of Junk

A few users have suggested that not starting Windows from GUI settings and then launching the program once Windows has booted also helps a lot. To do so, simply press Windows Key + R, type in msconfig and press Enter. Now select the Boot tab, select the checkbox for No GUI boot and click OK to apply the changes.According to these users, by doing this Adobe Animate doesn’t flutter anymore. Try it to see if it fixes the problem. This is a hit and miss option and it is not guaranteed that following this tip will result in a tremendous improvement in Adobe Animate’s performance. - Update Video Card Driver and Add Firewall Program ExceptionIf the Adobe Animate program is still running slow, update the video card driver. You can also add a Firewall exception for Adobe Animate and see if that helps.

Users have also reported that Adobe Animate runs slow on a VGA cable because it doesn’t support an analog connection. It is better to get a DVI cable and update the monitor’s driver.
