Bandicam Lagging on Windows 10

Bandicam requires a lot of system resources in order to uninterruptedly play the media content you’re streaming on the Internet. Update Bandicam

Check whether a new release is available on the Internet. Obtain the latest Bandicam version from http://www.bandicam.com/downloads/

 

Set Lower Resolution

Lowering down the display resolution will improve the performance. Here’s how:

  1. Type Screen Resolution in the Search Box on the Taskbar.
  2. Open Change the Screen Resolution from the Search Results.
  3. Select a resolution from the drop-down box.
  4. Click Apply.

 

Lower the Video Quality

Lower the video quality from 100% to 40% to boost the performance. Right-click the video, select Video Quality and choose a lower quality.

 

Upgrade the Hardware

Upgrade your computer’s hardware, specifically display card, to enhance and accelerate Bandicam’s performance. Consider buying any of the following video cards that come with the hardware acceleration H.264 encoder feature.

Nvidia® NVENC & CUDA, Intel® Quick Sync, AMD APP

 

Exit Full Screen

Click the Settings icon. Disable full-screen size and set a lower size for getting performance benefits.

 

Fix Memory Leaks

Severe memory leaks can cause this issue. Adjust Windows performance settings to sort out the issue.

  1. Press Windows Key + R.
  2. Type the following command and execute it:
    • %windir%\system32\SystemPropertiesPerformance.exe
  3. Click the Advanced tab.
  4. Click Change under Virtual Memory frame.
  5. Uncheck the box labeled Automatically manage paging file size for all drives.
  6. Select your system drive, choose Custom size.
  7. Specify a higher memory in terms of MB. (1 GB = 1024 MB)
  8. Click Set.
  9. Click OK | OK.
