Reinstall Java Runtime Environment

As the error message indicates Javascript isn’t functioning the way it should. Reinstalling Java Runtime Environment may avoid reoccurrence.

For Windows 8.1/ 8

  1. Press Windows Key + X, select Programs and Features.
  2. This will open up a list of all programs and tools installed on your machine. Uninstall a program named “Java Runtime Environment”. (To uninstall a program, right-click its entry and select Uninstall)
  3. After successful removal, please restart your computer. Reboot.
  4. Download the latest version from Java website.

For Windows 7/ Vista

  1. Click Start, type Uninstall a program and press Enter.
  2. Refer Steps # 2-4 under Windows 8.1/ 8 user’s section.

 

Check Conflicts

Google Chrome comes up with a feature that shows the list of loaded modules. Check and disable conflicting modules.

For Windows 8.1/ 8/ 7/ Vista

  1. Type in your browser’s address bar:
  • chrome://conflicts/
  1. Press Enter.
  2. The new page would show a number of modules. A message will appear No conflicts detected if no faulty modules are found.

 

Disable Sandbox

Disabling an unsupported feature- Sandbox.

For Windows 8.1/ 8/ 7/ Vista

  1. Right-click Google Chrome icon on Desktop.
  2. Select Properties.
  3. Click Shortcut > Target.
  4. Add “–no-sandbox” command at end of the textbox.
  5. Click Apply | OK.

 

Turn Off Ad-Blocker

If you’re using an ad-blocker program temporarily disable it and check if the problem still persists.

 

Reset Settings

Restore the default settings of your browser.

  1. Click Menu icon on the upper right corner of the screen.
  2. Select Settings option.
  3. Click “Show advanced settings”
  4. Go to the extreme bottom; click Reset Settings button.
