Emptying Downloads Folder

Downloads folder contains all of your downloaded files including applications, torrents, images, music, videos, documents, archives and so on. You can remove files in the following way:

For Windows 8.1/ 8

  1. Double click User folder on Desktop.
  2. Double click Downloads subfolder.
  3. Delete all downloaded files.

For Windows 7/ Vista

  1. Double click My Computer icon on the desktop.
  2. Open following folder:
  • C:\Users\%username%\Downloads

  2. Click Tools menu, select Delete browsing history.
  3. This opens up a new dialog. Check-up all the boxes.
  4. Click the Delete button.

For Mozilla Firefox

  1. Press Alt key to show menu bar.
  2. Click History | Clear recent history.
  3. In the new dialog that opens, select Time range to clear: Everything
  4. Check-up all boxes.
  5. Click Clear button.

For Opera

  1. Click Opera button.
  2. Select More Tools | Clear browsing data.
  3. Click Clear browsing data.

 

Deleting Downloaded Program Files
