One of the trickiest Instagram tasks is to post multiple photos. It might seem an easy job but for first-timers, it can be a bit confusing. Therefore, let us discuss how to post multiple photos on Instagram and learn to edit them as well.
Upload Multiple Photos on Instagram
To upload multiple photos on Instagram, you need to click the + icon. From there, you will need to select your phone gallery from where you will upload the photos. While browsing the photos, tap the Select Multiple icon and begin selecting the photos. As you select the photos, Instagram will number them. Please remember the photos will be uploaded in the same sequence. Finally, click the → option located in the top right corner.
Adding Photos and Applying Filters
Once you have clicked the → option, the next screen will appear providing filter options. Swipe from right to left to view all the filters and select the one you want to apply. Now provide a title to your post and description as well. You can (optionally) add a location as well. Instagram also allows you to upload the same post on Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr as well. As a result, you will be uploading a new post across four different platforms without having to start from scratch.
Adding Story
A key feature of Instagram is that it allows its users to add stories as well. On the home page, tap the Your Story icon and choose to create a post, story, or go live. You can provide a title to your live sessions and include friends and family members as well. Adding a story allows you to update your followers about anything new you have been upto. For instance, if you are a music producer, you can give your followers a glimpse of what is coming next. Moreover, some people tend to become confused while differentiating between a post and a story.
A story allows the users to share images and videos that might not otherwise make it to your feed. Furthermore, you do not have to provide lengthy descriptions and texts. A post on the other hand, allows a user to explain things in detail via big descriptions if required. For instance, a doctor can better explain a new procedure by going live rather than uploading a story.
