Windows reserves 20% of the bandwidth of the local system for Windows updates and internal consumption. Releasing the whole bandwidth to the user can increase the bandwidth by 20%. This might not be significant for those who have a high bandwidth, but it can be quite useful as every bit is important if Internet connections are already slow in your area.

  2. Find the gpedit.msc application in the search result.
