Use Windows Store Troubleshooter

Use the Troubleshooting keyword in Windows Search feature to access Troubleshooting page in Control Panel. Locate the Windows Store Apps icon under Hardware and Sound category to troubleshoot problems that may prevent Windows Store from working properly.

 

Restart the Store Service

Sometimes it happens that the Windows Store Service isn’t running in the background. If the service has been stopped, restart it using Services tool by typing “services.msc” in Windows Search feature. Use the General tab in Properties dialog box to configure service status. Set it to run automatically instead of choosing manual.

 

Set Appropriate Date-Time

Make sure your computer’s date-time, time zone settings are properly configured. Select “Adjust date/ time” option after right-clicking the Date-Time box on the extreme right side of your Taskbar. You shall see various settings in the Settings > Time & Language page. Use the slider object to disable setting your time automatically. Move that to left. Then adjust the date, time and time zone.

 

Disable Proxy Server

From the Connections tab in the Internet Properties dialog (known as, Internet Options, in earlier versions of Windows) choose to disable usage of Proxy server. Open the dialog box using the inetcpl.cpl command in the Run dialog (Use Windows Key + R shortcut).

 

Reset Windows Store Cache

By typing the wsreset.exe command in the Run dialog box or the Start Screen, reset the corrupted Windows Store cache. Make sure you choose to run this script as an administrator by right-clicking > Run as administrator.

 

Restore Default Proxy Configs

Using an elevated Command Prompt execute the netsh winhttp command and then restart your machine.

Reregister Windows Store Apps

Use the Windows PowerShell app to execute the following commands and re-register corrupted Windows Store apps. Just type in PowerShell in the Search Box of your Start Screen.
