End the Task
Fire up Task Manager and end the relevant process.
For Windows 8.1/ 8
- Press Windows Key + X, select Task Manager.
- Click More Details icon.
- Click Details tab.
- Right-click asdasd.exe process; select End task.
- Exit out of the screen.
For Windows 7/ Vista
- Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete keys simultaneously.
- Click Task Manager.
- Click Processes tab in the new dialog that opens.
- Refer Steps # 4-5 under Windows 8.1/ 8 user’s section.
Use a Rescue Disc
Disinfect your system using an Antivirus Rescue Disc. Here are steps to use Kaspersky Rescue Disc:
- Visit Kaspersky Rescue Disc download page.
- Click the Distributive button to initiate the download process.
- After successfully downloading the ISO file, use a DVD Burner program such as Nero to burn the same on a blank DVD ROM.
- Do not eject the DVD ROM from your drive; just restart your PC.
- Press F2 or Delete key repeatedly until CMOS Configuration screen appears.
- Set the following configurations:
- First Boot Device: DVD ROM Drive
- Second Boot Device: Hard Disk Drive
- Save the settings and exit.
- Your PC shall reboot and display a message Press any key to boot from your DVD. Press Enter key to continue.
- Now that the Rescue Disc loading screen appears on your screen. Again, press any key to continue.
- Select a language and press Enter.
- You have a License Agreement on your screen. Read all terms and conditions and then press “1” key if you accept.
- In the next screen that displays, select Kaspersky Rescue Disk: Graphic Mode and press Enter.
